Six paired displacement differences
One ball follows twelve independent fair left or right bounces. A right bounce adds +1 and a left bounce −1. Let xᵢ be displacement after i bounces, with x₀=0. The raw score is the sum for i=1..6 of |xᵢ − (x₁₂ − x₁₂₋ᵢ)|. Each term compares the first i bounces with the last i bounces.
This is not the distance from the final slot, a path reversal count, or a sum of all intermediate distances from zero. The six terms settle only after the twelfth bounce, when the endpoint is known. Only the observed path is drawn during animation; the six gap boxes remain undisclosed until settlement.
Three powers with exact separate means
Before a drop, choose power 1, 2 or 3. For raw score S, the gross multiplier is 0.96 × Sᵖ/Mₚ. The exact means over all 4,096 paths are M₁=11.73046875, M₂=192 and M₃=3897.609375. The exponent applies to S, not to the factor 0.96. A zero score returns zero in every power.
Each power has 96% expected gross return relative to its captured stake in this model. This is a mathematical expectation, not a win probability or session guarantee. The power changes the payout distribution, not the left/right chances or the six-gap definition. Gross return includes the stake.
Local virtual balance and fractional carry
The initial balance is 1,000 free virtual coins without monetary value or prize entitlement. The settled balance and fractional payout carry are kept in local browser storage when available. A fraction is carried into later settlements rather than discarded on each payout.
Restore balance is available only while idle and below the minimum stake of 10. It sets the balance to 1,000, rather than adding 1,000, and preserves the fraction. It is a manual button, not an automatic reset or a refund for an interrupted round.
Voluntary use and personal limits
Participation is optional and offers no monetary prize. You may stop without starting another round. A personal time limit does not alter the face probabilities; another spin does not become more favourable after a lower return.
